About McLoughlin Soccer

Our professional coaching staff, led by Tom McLoughlin, Head Coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University, is dedicated to the soccer education of children through our unique philosophy of fun, skill building and soccer games.

Staff members have licenses from many countries including Ireland, England, Brazil and the USA, bringing a level of expertise in education, professional soccer playing and coaching unparalleled in New Jersey.

While many of our coaches have had professional and international playing experience, the main element in our selection and training of our coaches is their ability to relate to children. Our coaches ensure that players are safe, continuously involved, happy and constantly challenged to improve their skills.

Tom McLoughlin ... Fairleigh Dickinson University Head Soccer Coach, N.J. State Staff Coach, Graduate of St. Joseph's College of Education, Ireland; Published Author on Soccer, National YMCA Faculty Trainer for Youth Sports.

Leonardo Fuzaro...Former Brazilian professional player with Santos, Cruziero and Vasco do Gama. Trained under Pele, the greatest player of all time. Played with Robinho, current Brazilian national team star. Coached in Florida before recently moving to N.J.

Brahim Chhab...Coaching credentials in Brazil, France and U.S. Has masters in Sports Science and was on Moroccan Olympic 800 meter track team. Former Qatar national soccer team speed trainer. Excels in teaching speed training and our youngest Soccer Kids.

Chris Coulthard..Popular clinician and Assistant Coach at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Formerly with Newcastle United in England and was a standout at NCAA Division 1 powerhouse F.D.U. Teaneck.

Jon Panella...many years experience working with players of all ages from Soccer Kids to College as head coach. Regularly coaches O.D.P. team for New Jersey Jon was a standout at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison.

Tommy Armstrong ... Former Irish International Star, NASL Professional and Irish Under-15 International Coach, Irish "Footballer of the Year", Full Irish F.A. Coaching Badge.

Frank McMahon ... Professional Soccer Player in England and Ireland with Coventry City, Lincoln City, Darlington, Distillery and Waterford; Former Professional Coach in England. Full English Coaching Badge.

Gerry O'Kane ... Played for Irish International Team, Former NASL Professional with Indoor Champion San Diego Sockers, Irish "Footballer" of the Year", Head Coach & Teacher, Corpus Christi College.

Eric Imler ... Former D.C. United Player, MLS Cup Champions. Voted onto Soccer America's NCAA Team of the Century. Former U.S. National Olympic team member.

Jeff Zaun ... Former Metro Stars and Chicago Fire player. In addition to these coaches, specialist goalkeeper coaches and other top quality male and female coaches will work with the players.

Julio Cesar ... Former Brazilian Under 21 International and tam-mate of former World Player of the Year - the Brazilian Ronaldo.

Chris Brauchle ... Former MetroStars and Bayern Munich professional.

In addition to these coaches, specialist goalkeeper coaches and other top quality male and female coaches will work with the players in our programs.
